Modern Life: A World Starved of Light ☀️
Share
For millions of years, humans rose and rested with the sun. Today? We tell people to fear natural light, while trapping them under blue LED screens that fry their circadian system. We smear kids in chemicals that block the very wavelengths meant to build their bones and regulate their hormones. We call sunglasses “style,” while severing the retinal signals that synchronize the body’s clocks. We label the star that sustained life for 4 billion years as a “carcinogen.” and then act surprised when depression, obesity, and autoimmune disease explode.
This is cultural brain rot.
Every civilization before ours revered the sun, from the Egyptians worshipping Ra to the Greeks honoring Helios…
No culture in history, until now, ever taught its children that sunlight itself was inherently toxic.
What changed?
Dermatology scare campaigns, and the chemical industry’s push for sunscreen. “Evidence” built on albino mice in labs and isolated UV studies stripped from real biology. This is paranoia institutionalized into public health, convincing billions to fear the very thing that sets their circadian rhythm, fuels their mitochondria, and sustains life itself.
